Sanandaj; Khabat Dehdar, a labor activist, was detained by security forces

 Khabat Dehdar, a labor activist from Sanandaj, was arrested by security forces today, Tuesday, February 8th.

 Security forces arrested the labor activist in one of the streets of Sanandaj without issuing any court order and then transferred him to an unknown location.

No information is available on the reason for the arrest and the charges against Mr. Dehdar.

 On Sunday, April 13,2020, Khabat Dehdar was released from Sanandaj Central Prison after spending four years and four months.

 Khabat Dehdar returned to Iran in 2010 after eight years of membership in the Komala Party and received a letter of trust and in March 2, 2011, he was sentenced to 5 years suspended imprisonment on charges of membership in Komala party by the Sanandaj Revolutionary Court. The labor activist was arrested by security forces on March 1, 2016, on the last day of his suspended sentence, and was interrogated for 20 days.

 He was later sentenced to three months and 10 days in prison in another case on charges of "propaganda against the regime," and his previous suspended sentence was commuted to discretionary imprisonment.
