According to an informed source speaking to Kurdpa; "Amin Naseri" had been under surveillance by security institutions for arrest for eight months following the January 2026 protests. Security forces raided his family home several times to arrest him, but he was not present. Ultimately, on August 23, 2026, dozens of vehicles belonging to security forces and armed personnel moved to arrest Amin Naseri and shot him in the leg during the arrest, resulting in two bullet wounds.

According to this source, this violent arrest accompanied by gunfire caused fear and panic among local residents. Witness accounts indicate that Amin Naseri was transferred to an unknown location while injured immediately following his violent detention, and there is no information on his fate to date.
