August 22, 2026; On Wednesday, August 19, 2026, Shirin Masoudi, a beauty salon instructor and member of the "Razhan" mountaineering group in Mahabad, was arrested by security forces and transferred to a security detention center in Urmia for interrogation.

According to an informed source, security forces raided the beauty salon of this Kurdish citizen near Qaneh Bridge in Mahabad without presenting a judicial warrant and arrested her using violence.

This informed source added: To date, the family's continuous follow-ups to ascertain her fate have remained unsuccessful.
