Five Kurdish citizens from Maku city have been sentenced to 46 years imprisonment

Krdpa: Five Kurdish citizens from Maku city have been sentenced to 46 years imprisonment by Khoy city Revolutionary Court, charged with collaborating with Iranian opposition parties.

According to reports obtained by Krdpa: “Mosttafa Armin” son of Omar, “Vali Balkhanly” (died under authority torture), “Mosa Hatefi” son of Bahri, “Saeed Drait” son of Saleh and “Ali Marhamati” son of Nabi are five Kurdish civilians from Maku region (in West- Azarbaijan province in Iran) have been sentenced by Khoy Revolutionary Court to 46 years imprisonment and banishment.

But few days after detained Balkhanly lost his lives’ under heavy torture in Khoy city office intelligence. According to further reports obtained by Krdpa: The sentence of Vali Balkhkanly has not been announced because he died under torture before announcing the sentences, but his name is issued in the median sentences.

The Revolutionary Court of Khoy city judgment issued that “Mosttafa Armin” and “Vali Balkhanly” from Maku city have been sentenced to fifteen years imprisonment and six months deportation to the Borazjan prison, “Mosa Hatefi” from Adghan village in the Maku city has been sentenced to seven- year’s imprisonment, “Saeed Drait” from Hesoshki village in the Maku city and “Ali Marhamati” from Hesar village in the Maku city, each to four- years imprisonment have been sentenced.

Krdpa correspondent of Khoy city in this regard and to continue his report said that the five citizens arrested last year by Iranian intelligence, then Balkhkanly was killed under torture, but since then nothing has been published in connection with his killing.
