August 22, 2026; With 8 days having passed since the arbitrary detention of "Avat Nouri", a Kurdish citizen from the city of Mahabad, there is still no information available regarding his fate and place of detention. During this period, he has been deprived of the right to family visits, telephone calls, and access to a lawyer.

According to an informed source speaking to Kurdpa; on Saturday, August 15, 2026, "Avat Nouri" from Mahabad was arrested by security forces of the Intelligence Office without presenting a judicial warrant and transferred to an unknown location, and since then no information regarding his fate has been obtained.

Until the time of publication of this news, no information is available regarding the reasons for the arrest and possible charges against this Kurdish citizen, and security forces have offered no explanation in this regard. Avat Nouri is also deprived of the right to access a lawyer, family visits, and telephone calls.
