Even in Rouhani administration Publications are disappeared

Kurdpa Agency: During the last year three publications in Iranian Kurdistan province have been shut down and no longer available in news agent shops.
According to kurdpa News agency, despite of the Government of prudence and hope (referring to president Rouhani administration) promising over promoting press and publication freedom, however in Iranian Kurdistan region publications are still suppressed. There is no response from the head of Government Cultural sector regarding these situations.
At the moment in Kurdistan Province in Iran only those publications close to the Government such as Sirwan are available in the news agent shops.
An associate told Kurdpa News agency that a weekly magazine which had previously been accredited for journalism certificate has now been shut down.
This associate who does not want his/her name being revealed, said that, last year a weekly magazine was cracked down only ,after publishing its first edition.
According to this cultural activist, previously, publications such as Neday Garous, Hawar, Rasan. Rojhelat, Karafto had also been closed down. This associate who substitutes disappeared word for shutting down in (shutting down publication), believes
current cracking down on publications is a means of software war verses hardware war during President Ahmadinejad era.
Although the head of Cultural and Guidance ministry believe that current publication crisis are due to financial difficulties, however it appears shutting down press and publications are still continued from the very beginning of the work.
International institutes for supporting freedom of speech classify Iran as a country where the most restrictions and cracking down on journalist are applied.
Reporters without borders have been ranking Iran 173 out of180 for the freedom of press record. This ranking is at one level higher than Soudan and one lower than Somalia.
