On the afternoon of Friday, April 17, 2026, while the military conflict between the "United States-Israel" and the "Islamic Republic of Iran" is in its tenth day of ceasefire, a wave of drone and missile attacks by the "Islamic Republic of Iran" on the headquarters and refugee camps of the "Democratic Party of Iranian Kurdistan" in the "Kurdistan Region of Iraq" claimed the lives of two female Peshmerga named "Neda Miri" and "Samira Allahyari" and one child from a political family named "Shahin Azarbarzin", and several other Peshmerga members were wounded.

Media outlets of the "Democratic Party of Iranian Kurdistan" have published that as a result of suicide-drone attacks by the "Islamic Republic of Iran" on the camp of political refugees and civilian families of the "Democratic Party of Iranian Kurdistan" located in the "Jizhnikan" camp in "Erbil", "Kurdistan Region of Iraq", one family's home was targeted, resulting in the death of "Shahin Azarbarzin" and the severe wounding of his father, "Nader Azarbarzin".
