Esfarayen; Pouya Rostami and Abbas Zeinali, Kurmanji Kurdish Youths, Identity of Two Victims of January 8
January 24, 2026; “Pouya Rostami,” 25 years old, and “Abbas Zeinali,” Kurmanji Kurdish youths from Esfarayen in North Khorasan province, are the identities of two more victims of the popular protests in this city on the evening of Thursday, January 8, 2026, who were killed by the repressive forces of the Islamic Republic.
An informed source, while confirming this news to Kurdpa, stated; “Pouya Rostami” lost his life due to live ammunition fire to the mouth and chest area, and “Abbas Zeinali,” who was less than 25 years old, lost his life due to direct fire of live ammunition by the repressive forces of the Islamic Republic.
According to this source, Pouya Rostami lost his father in childhood and had one brother; their mother raised these two children alone.
