Sunday, January 18, 2026; Ashkan Mardani, a 20-year-old youth from the county of Abdanan in Ilam province, was arrested by security forces and transferred to an unknown location.

According to an informed source to Kurdpa, security forces raided the family home of this youth without presenting a judicial warrant and arrested him using violence.

This informed source added: The follow-ups by the family of this Kurdish youth to obtain information about his fate have yielded no results.
