January 13, 2026; The identity of “Zahra Moradi,” a young Kurdish woman from Bukan and resident of Tehran, during the popular protests of January 8, 2026, has been confirmed for “Kurdpa.”
According to an informed source to “Kurdpa,” this young woman, who was employed in Tehran along with her family, participated in the popular protests in “Tehransar” on January 8, 2026, accompanied by her uncle and her cousin, and was killed by direct gunfire to the head and chest.
Her uncle and cousin were also wounded by pellet weapons.
It should be noted that “Zahra Moradi” was originally from the village of “Hesar,” a suburb of Bukan, and had been residing in Tehran with her family for years.
