Marivan: Pretrial detention of Mohammad Parvazeh extended

The pretrial detention order for Mohammad Parvazeh, a Kurdish resident of Ni village, Marivan, has been extended for another month by the investigative branch of the Public and Revolutionary Prosecutor’s Office in Marivan.

A reliable source confirmed to Kurdpa that Parvazeh has been held for over a month at the Intelligence Department’s detention center in Marivan, where he has been under interrogation.

The source added that during his detention, Mr. Parvazeh has been denied access to legal counsel and family visits.

On Wednesday, July 23, 2025, security forces arrested the Kurdish citizen without presenting a court warrant at the three-way junction near Ni village.

Mr. Parvazeh is married and the father of three children, and has a prior record of arrest and conviction.

So far, no specific information has been made available regarding the charges or reasons for his detention.
