Death sentences of three Kurdish prisoners from Harsin carried out in Ghezel Hesar Prison, Karaj

In the early morning of Wednesday, August 27, 2025, the execution of three Kurdish prisoners — Hossein Biabani, Faramarz Shahbazi, and Mashallah Nikoufal — from Harsin County in Kermanshah Province was carried out in Ghezel Hesar Prison in Karaj.

In recent days, the three prisoners had been transferred to solitary confinement in preparation for the implementation of their death sentences.

The individuals had been arrested several years ago on drug-related charges and were subsequently sentenced to death by the judiciary of the Islamic Republic of Iran.

As of now, the execution has not been officially confirmed by Iranian authorities or state media.
