On the morning of Tuesday, September 2, 2025, the death sentence of a 44-year-old prisoner named Mohammad Babaei, a resident of the village of Dezli in Sarvabad County, was carried out in Sanandaj Central Prison.

This prisoner had previously been arrested on charges of premeditated murder and was later sentenced to death by the judicial system of the Iranian government.

So far, news of this execution has not been announced by official authorities or media inside Iran.
