Marivan: Ongoing Detention and Lack of Information on the Whereabouts of Amir Amjadi

One week after his arrest, there remains no confirmed information regarding the condition or whereabouts of Amir Amjadi, a Kurdish resident of Marivan.
According to an informed source, Mr. Amjadi has been denied access to legal counsel and has not been permitted to meet or communicate with his family since his detention.
On Friday, July 18, 2025, Mr. Amjadi was arrested at his family home by security forces without the presentation of a judicial warrant and was transferred to an undisclosed location.
The reasons for his arrest and any charges brought against him remain unknown.
