Seven years imprisonments without any treatment for receiving sever abuse from Iranian intelligent office

Kurdpa Agency: A Kurdish Citizen from Miyandoab who has been in jail for seven years in central prison in Urmieh has not received any medical attention for injuries resulted from torturing by Iranian intelligent office. He has also been denied temporally permission to leave.

According to Kurdistan Press Agency, Mawlood YazdanPanah, son of Taha, from ‘’Tobzawa’’ Village of Miyandoab was arrested on 26 August, 2008 by the Ministry of Intelligence in Daralak within Mahabad region. Ha has also been under torture for three months in Intelligence Office of Uremia and Sepah Pasdaran (Revolutionary Guards) in Mahabad.

An associate told Kurdistan Press Agency that, while Mowlood being kept in solitary confinement in Intelligence Office of Urmia, his shoulder and knee was in pain due to torture and ill treatment. He has been transferred to prison without receiving any treatment.

This associate also said that since Mawlood family has not been able to pursue and dealing with his case in the court ,the previous verdict remained the same after appeal hearing.

The same associate also said that Mawlood was sentenced to 15 years imprisonment due to affiliation with one of the Kurdish political Parties. He has spent 7 years of his sentence so far and has sustained a sever abuse and ill treatment by the Iranian intelligent office during imprisonment.
