Accused of Publishing falsehoods in cyberspace, Director of Hawal News Agency was summoned

Kurdistan Press Agency (Kurdpa): the director of the Hawal News Agency was summoned to the Interrogation office of the Urmia Public Prosecutor and Urmia Revolutionary Court.
According to reports received by Kurdpa, Rasoul (Hajar) Rahimi, the director of the Hawal News Agency was summoned to the Interrogation office of the Urmia Public Prosecutor and Urmia Revolutionary Court a few days ago.
He has been accused of publishing ‘falsehoods in cyberspace’ by Jalal Mahmoodzadeh, an Iranian regime’s Parliament member representing Mahabad.
In the summons, Rahimi has been warned to not avoid attending the trial, otherwise he would be arrested.
He was informed in the issued summons that he could be able to have access to a lawyer.
