An informed source confirmed the news to Kurdpa, stating: On the evening of Wednesday, July 1, 2026, "Sabah Valadbeygi" was arrested without a judicial warrant during a raid by Ministry of Intelligence security forces on his family home in "Nuryav" village, a suburb of Paveh, and was transferred to an unknown location. After one day, he made a brief phone call to his family, informing them of his transfer to a security detention center in Kermanshah; since then, no further information has been obtained about his condition.
Sabah Valadbeygi is a retired teacher, environmental activist, and the head of the "Noor" mountaineering group in Paveh, and he has a prior history of being summoned by security agencies.
As of the publication of this report, the reasons for the detention of this Kurdish citizen remain unknown, and security forces have provided no explanation in this regard. Furthermore, he has been deprived of the right to access a lawyer and to meet with his family.
