Piranhehr; 8 days of arbitrary detention and absolute lack of information regarding the fate of Fardin Seyyedeh
February 10, 2026; Following 8 days since the arbitrary detention of “Fardin Seyyedeh,” a Kurdish youth from “Piranhehr,” there is still no information regarding his place of detention or fate, and security agencies have provided no explanation in this regard.
An informed source, while confirming this news to “Kurdpa,” stated; “Fardin Seyyedeh,” son of Khalid, was arrested on February 2, 2026, by Intelligence Department security forces without the presentation of a judicial warrant and was transferred to an unknown location.
The arbitrary detention of this Kurdish citizen took place only two days after his wedding (the beginning of his married life).
It should be noted that during his detention, Fardin Seyyedeh has been completely deprived of the right to access a lawyer, as well as contact and visitation with his family, a situation that has caused serious concern for his relatives.
As of the time of this report's publication, no information is available regarding the reasons for his arrest, and security agencies continue to withhold any explanation.
