February 5, 2026; “Morteza Yaghoubi,” a 41-year-old Kurdish Kurmanj youth from “Esfarayen,” is the identity of another victim of the popular protests of January 8, 2026, in “Esfarayen.” He lost his life due to the direct firing of a live bullet by the repressive forces of the Islamic Republic.
An informed source, while confirming this news to “Kurdpa,” stated; the body of this victim was buried on January 11, 2026, in his birthplace, the village of “Naghiabad,” “Esfarayen.”
“Morteza Yaghoubi,” born in 1982, was the father of a 9-year-old daughter and two sons aged 3 and 1. He was a heavy vehicle driver.
