February 4, 2026; “Jalil Milanlouei,” a 48-year-old Kurdish Kurmanj citizen from “Esfarayen,” university lecturer, and head of the “Resalat Bank,” is the identity of another victim of the popular protests of January 8, 2026, in the city of “Esfarayen.” He lost his life due to the direct firing of a live bullet by the repressive forces of the Islamic Republic to his chest area.
An informed source, while confirming this news to “Kurdpa,” stated; the family of this victim searched for his body for three days and finally found it on January 11, 2026. According to this source, the body of “Jalil Milanlouei” was delivered to the family following the application of pressure, threats, and the extraction of a written commitment stating that he was a “passerby” and that the family does not have the right to hold a ceremony. Furthermore, the family of this victim has been under intense pressure from security agencies to introduce him as a “Government Martyr.”
The body of “Jalil Milanlouei” was buried on January 11, 2026, in the “Behesht-e Zahra” cemetery in “Esfarayen,” under an intensely securitized atmosphere and in the presence of a large number of repressive forces of the Islamic Republic.
Based on the burial permit of this victim, a copy of which was obtained by “Kurdpa,” the “General Department of Forensic Medicine” of “North Khorasan” province declared the cause of death as “impact of a metal projectile object,” which led to “damage to chest viscera and resulting complications,” and ultimately resulted in his death due to “hemorrhagic shock.”
According to an informed source from the university, after the killing of “Jalil Milanlouei,” no one, not even his students, was allowed to speak about his government murder. This source added that students noticed their professor's absence when arriving for an exam, without any official explanation being provided, and the university atmosphere was intensely securitized to prevent any discussion on the matter.
“Jalil Milanlouei,” born on October 29, 1977, the son of “Ahmad,” was originally from the Kurdish Kurmanjs of “Esfarayen.” He was a lecturer at the “Esfarayen University of Medical Sciences” and the head of the “Resalat Bank” in this city.
