Arkvazi/Chovar; 3 Weeks of Arbitrary Detention and Lack of Information Regarding 18-Year-Old "Sina Ghiyasi"/ His life and fate are at risk

February 19, 2026; After three weeks since the arbitrary detention of "Sina Ghiyasi", an 18-year-old Kurdish youth from the village of "Arkvazi" in the county of "Chovar", Ilam province, there is no information available regarding his fate or place of detention. An informed source, while confirming this news, told Kurdpa: "Sina Ghiyasi" was detained in early February 2026 without a judicial warrant during a raid on his home by security forces and was transferred to an unknown location.
