Kermanshah; Nazanin-Zahra Salehi, 13-Year-Old Kurdish Teenager, Identity of Another of the Kermanshah Victims
January 23, 2026; “Nazanin-Zahra Salehi,” a 13-year-old Kurdish teenager from Kermanshah, is the identity of another of the victims of the popular protests in Kermanshah who was killed by direct fire from the repressive forces of the Islamic Republic.
An informed source, while confirming this news to Kurdpa, stated; “Nazanin-Zahra Salehi” was likely targeted by direct fire from the repressive forces of the Islamic Republic and lost her life on January 8 or 9, 2026, inside a park during the popular protests in Kermanshah.
According to this source, this teenager lost her father and mother years ago and was living under the guardianship of her maternal aunt.
It has not yet been determined for Kurdpa whether an amount was received from the family for the delivery of this victim's body or if they were forced to sign a written commitment; however, sources had previously told Kurdpa that government institutions have received amounts between 700 million Tomans and one billion Tomans from families for the delivery of the bodies of those killed in Kermanshah, and families have been forced to pay these amounts to receive the bodies.
