Kermanshah; Hamidreza Yousefi, Kurdish Youth, Identity of Another Victim of the "Elahieh" Mass Killing on January 8 1

January 23, 2026; “Hamidreza Yousefi,” a Kurdish youth from Kermanshah, is the identity of another victim of the January 8 mass killing in the “Elahieh” neighborhood of Kermanshah, who was killed by direct fire from the repressive forces of the Islamic Republic.

An informed source told Kurdpa: “Hamidreza Yousefi” was targeted by direct fire from repressive forces and lost his life on the evening of Thursday, January 8, 2026, during the popular protests in Kermanshah in the “Elahieh” neighborhood.

Regarding the mass killing in the “Elahieh” neighborhood located on “Shahed” Boulevard, this source added: Dozens of people in this neighborhood were targeted by barrages of gunfire from repressive and military forces of the “Nabi Akram Corps,” resulting in at least 15 deaths and dozens of others wounded. “Hamidreza Yousefi” is one of the victims of this massacre whose identity has been revealed after two weeks.
