An informed source, while confirming this news to Kurdpa, stated; “Vahid Latif-Nejad,” a civil activist from Ilam, was arrested by security forces on January 17, 2026, without being presented with a judicial warrant and was transferred to an unknown location; so far, no information is available about his fate.

Additionally, on January 10, 2026, a Kurdish citizen from Ilam named “Yazdan Azizi” was arrested by security forces without being presented with a judicial warrant, and to date, no information about his fate or place of detention is available.
