Ilam; Two Weeks of Detention and Absolute Lack of Information on Milad, Payam, and Sina Mirzabeygi Following Violent Arrest

January 22, 2026; Two weeks after the arbitrary and violent detention of three Kurdish citizens from Ilam named “Milad Mirzabeygi,” “Payam Mirzabeygi,” and “Sina Mirzabeygi,” there is no information available regarding their place of detention or fate, and the relatives of these individuals are deeply concerned about the condition and lives of their children.

According to an informed source to “Kurdpa,” “Milad Mirzabeygi,” “Payam Mirzabeygi,” and “Sina Mirzabeygi” were detained on January 10, 2026, during a violent raid by security forces on their family home without the presentation of a judicial warrant. They were taken to an unknown location with the use of severe violence, and since then, no information has been obtained regarding their fate.

It should be noted that “Sina Mirzabeygi” and “Payam Mirzabeygi” are brothers, and “Milad Mirzabeygi” is their cousin.

Until the time of publication of this news, there is no information regarding the reasons for the detention of these three Kurdish citizens, and despite repeated inquiries by the families, security agencies and relevant officials have provided no explanation in this regard.
