January 22, 2026; “Mahan Mardani,” a young Kurdish citizen from Kermanshah, is the identity of another of the victims of the popular protests in Tehran who was killed by live ammunition from the repressive forces of the Islamic Republic.

An informed source, while confirming this news to “Kurdpa,” stated: “Mahan Mardani,” a young Kurdish citizen from Kermanshah, was targeted by direct fire of live ammunition from the repressive forces of the Islamic Republic on the evening of Friday, January 9, 2026, during the popular protests in Tehran in the “Qaleh Hassan Khan” area and lost his life.

It has not yet been determined for “Kurdpa” whether the body of this victim has been delivered to the family or not; furthermore, it is unclear whether an amount was received from the family for the delivery of the body or if they were forced to sign a written commitment.
