According to reports received by “Kurdpa,” “Meysam Koranian” was targeted by direct fire of live ammunition from the repressive forces of the Islamic Republic at 8:00 PM on Thursday, January 8, 2026, during the popular protests in Kermanshah at “Tagh-e Bostan Boulevard” and lost his life.

According to reports, this Kalhor Kurdish youth was originally from the village of “Korani,” a suburb of Kermanshah. He was killed only three days after his marriage contract ceremony.

It has not yet been determined for “Kurdpa” whether an amount was received from the family for the delivery of this victim's body or if they were forced to sign a written commitment; however, sources had previously told “Kurdpa” that government institutions have received amounts between 700 million Tomans and one billion Tomans from families for the delivery of the bodies of those killed in Kermanshah, and families have been forced to pay these amounts to receive the bodies.
