January 20, 2026; “Mohammad-Mehdi Badri,” a Kurdish youth from Kermanshah, is the identity of another of the victims of the January 8 popular protests in Kermanshah who was killed by live ammunition from the repressive forces of the Islamic Republic.
An informed source, while confirming this news to “Kurdpa,” stated: “Mohammad-Mehdi Badri,” son of Mahmoud, was targeted by direct fire of live ammunition from the repressive forces of the Islamic Republic on the evening of Thursday, January 8, 2026, during the popular protests in Kermanshah at “Tagh-e Bostan Boulevard” and lost his life.
According to the obituary notice of this victim, his body was buried on Saturday, January 10, 2026, in the “Bagh-e Ferdows” cemetery. It has not been determined for “Kurdpa” under what security conditions, and whether by receiving money or taking a written commitment, his body was delivered to the family.
