Saman Pashaei, the holder of the world championship medal in freestyle wrestling, has been arrested by security forces

On Sunday, July 2nd, Saman Pashaei, the holder of the world championship medal in freestyle wrestling and a resident of Saqqez, was arrested by security forces.
This Kurdish athlete was detained without a judicial warrant by the security forces.
According to one of Saman Pashaei's family members, he has been taken to the intelligence detention center in Sanandaj for interrogation.
Saman Pashaei holds a Ph.D. in Physiology and Sports Nutrition and is a member of the National Academy of Sports Medicine in the United States. He is also a faculty member at universities in Kurdistan.
As of now, the reason for his arrest and the charges against Saman Pashaei are not known.
