Kurdish political prisoner transferred to hospital for treatment

kurdpa: A Kurdish prisoner in Rajaee Shahr prison in Karaj city was transferred to hospital due to a severe pulmonary illness.
According to HRANA website, Mohammad Mehdi Zaliyah, a Kurdish political prisoner and a victim of chemical attack for the Iran-Iraq war who has spent 18 years in Urmia and Rajaee Shahr prisons was transferred to Rajaee Shahr hospital due to lung infection.
Mohammad has been repeatedly requested medical leave but his requests has been rejected by the prison officials.
Kurdish political prisoners have been denied access to proper medical attention. Prominent imprisoned human right activist Mohammad Sedigh Kaboudvand has been routinely denied medical access despite his deteriorating health conditions.
