Arrest of a Kurdish Citizen by Urmia\'s Ettelaat

Kurdpa Agency: A Kurdish citizen from the city of Oshnavieh was arrested by intelligence agencies affiliated to the Urmia Ettelaat Bureau.

According to a report by the Kurdistan Press Agency, on Sunday, June 16th, a Kurdish citizen called \"Adel Salem Fard\" from \"Amir Abad\" village, Oshnavieh, has been detained by intelligence forces and no information is available about his fate.

According to an informed source, intelligence forces also arrested Gabriel Salem Fard, along with Adel Salem Fard and released him after several hours of interrogation.

This source added that these two citizens were beaten up during detention by intelligence forces.

Until the moment of publication this news, there is no information available on the reason for the detention and whereabouts of Adel Salem Fard.

Gabriel and Adel Salem Fard were arrested by the intelligence forces June 2018 on charges of \"cooperating with one of the Kurdish opposition parties of the Iranian government,\" and then were released on heavy bail.

Adel Salem Fard is a graduate of law from Mahanabad Payam-Noor University.
