Baneh; Hasan Mostafazadeh, Kurdish Kolbar, Severely Injured by Government Military Shooting

August 7, 2026 – On Wednesday, August 5, 2026, a Kurdish Kolbar named "Hasan Mostafazadeh," from the city of Rabat in Sardasht County, was severely injured due to shooting by government military forces on the Baneh border.

According to an informed source, this Kolbar was wounded without prior warning on the "Hengazhal" border of Baneh as a result of direct live ammunition fire by military forces.

The informed source added: Following his transfer to Salahaddin Ayyubi Hospital in Baneh, this Kolbar was transferred to a medical center in Tabriz due to the severity of his injuries.

Over the past three days, two Kolbars from Baneh named "Goran Khedri" and "Bakhtiar Amini," who are married and from the villages of "Nizerod" and "Dusineh," were severely injured in two separate incidents due to direct shooting by military forces and a landmine explosion on the "Hengazhal" border of Baneh and transferred to Salahaddin Ayyubi Hospital in Baneh.
