Damghan; Execution of Morteza Sadeghzadeh, a Kurdish Prisoner in the Central Prison of Damghan

On the dawn of Monday, June 1, 2026, the death sentence of a Kurdish prisoner named “Morteza Sadeghzadeh,” son of Mohammad and from Saghez, was executed in the Central Prison of Damghan, located in Semnan province.
According to an informed source, this 25-year-old prisoner was arrested in 2023 (1402) on charges related to “drug offenses” and had been sentenced to death by the judicial apparatus of the Iranian government.
So far, the execution of this prisoner has not been announced by official sources or domestic media inside Iran.
