Kamyaran؛ Continuation of the Detention and Lack of Information on the Fate of Hiresh Sharifian a Kurdish Teenager

June 11, 2026; Passing six days since the time of the arbitrary detention of Hiresh Sharifian, a Kurdish teenager from the village of "Palangan" surrounding the county of "Kamyaran", no information is available regarding his fate and place of detention.

According to an informed source, in the early hours of Saturday, June 6, 2026, security forces raided the family home of Hiresh Sharifian, a 17-year-old Kurdish teenager, in the village of "Palangan" without being presented with a judicial warrant, and by breaking the front door of the house, intended to arrest him; however, due to his absence from the home, they did not succeed in doing so. Following this action, the security forces requested his family to have their child report himself to the Intelligence Department of the city of "Kamyaran" as soon as possible.

This informed source added; Hiresh Sharifian was arrested after reporting himself to the Intelligence Department of the city of "Kamyaran" and was transferred to an unknown location, and until now, he has been deprived of access to a lawyer and meetings with his family.
