Bukan; Sixth day of arbitrary detention of Amir Yousefi and continued lack of news regarding his fate

May 14, 2026; following the passage of 6 days since the arbitrary detention of "Amir Yousefi," a Kurdish citizen from "Bukan," there is still no information available regarding his fate and status, and he has been deprived of the right to access a lawyer, meetings, and contact with his family.

An informed source, while confirming this news to Kurdpa, said; "Amir Yousefi," a Kurdish citizen from the village of "Salamat" in the vicinity of the city of "Bukan" in "Azerbaijan-e Gharbi" Province, was arrested by Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) Intelligence forces without the presentation of a judicial warrant and was transferred to one of the security detention centers in "Urmia."

Until the publication of this news, there is no information regarding the reasons for the detention of this Kurdish citizen, and security institutions have provided no explanation in this regard.
