January 2026 Protests; Ali Fahim, one of the detainees of the January protests, was executed
In the continuation of the new wave of executions of political prisoners by the Islamic Republic of Iran, this morning, April 6, 2026, Ali Fahim, one of the detainees of the January 2026 protests, was executed.
State media, including Mizan, the official news agency of the Judiciary, published this news without mentioning the location of the execution of this protesting political prisoner, writing that he was executed after the review of the case and the confirmation of the sentence by the Supreme Court.
This news agency also announced that after the issuance of the indictment, Ali Fahim was tried on charges of "participation in operational actions against the security of the country for Israel, the United States, and hostile groups and their affiliates, and destroying and setting fire to government property with the intent to oppose the Islamic Republic of Iran system".
This political protester had been transferred to solitary confinement in Ghezel Hesar Prison in the city of Karaj on the evening of Sunday, March 29, 2026.
The case of the protester was processed in Branch 15 of the Tehran Revolutionary Court, presided over by Judge "Abolghasem Salavati", and on February 7, 2026, the death sentence had been issued for him.
In the same regard, on the morning of April 5, 2026, Mohammadamin Biglari and Shahin Vahedparast, detainees of the January 2026 protests, were executed secretly and without prior notice to their families or lawyers.
