Hamadan; Continued arbitrary detention and uncertainty regarding the fate of Zeinab Azizi and Sirwan Amini in the Central Prison of Hamadan

According to an informed source, this Kurdish couple was transferred to one of the security detention centers in "Hamadan" for interrogation following their arrest in "Sanandaj."

The informed source stated: Since their arrest, these two citizens have had only a few brief phone calls with their family and have been deprived of access to a lawyer and family visits.

On Saturday, March 7, 2026, Zeinab Azizi and Sirwan Amini were arrested by security forces at their home in "Sanandaj" without a judicial warrant and through the use of violence.

To date, no precise information has been obtained regarding the reason for the arrest or the charges brought against this Kurdish couple.
