The “Kurd Mall” market near the Public Places Supervision Office and Police Station 12 has also been shut down. Based on videos reached to “Kurdpa,” a military armored vehicle entered Unit 116 of the Law Enforcement Force of the city of “Saqqez,” and a heavy artillery weapon sent from the city of “Sanandaj” was seen entering the Army Garrison in the city of “Saqqez.” Local sources have reported that the protective forces of government institutions are no longer publicly present in this area and have likely been evacuated or hidden. “Qods Square” and “Enqelab Boulevard,” where headquarters such as the Intelligence Department and the Governor's Office are located, were evacuated and closed on March 2, 2026.
An informed source told “Kurdpa” that most of the people's homes near “Enqelab Boulevard” were evacuated by the people themselves, and all shops around this boulevard were also spontaneously closed by the people. This action was taken due to the presence of security and military institutions of the Islamic Republic in this area, including the Governor's Office, the Intelligence Department, and several other military and security headquarters. Additionally, the “Kurd Mall” market, located near the Public Places Supervision Office and Police Station 12, has been closed.

In this regard, “Qods Square” and “Enqelab Boulevard,” where institutions such as the Intelligence Department and the Governor's Office are stationed, were closed and completely evacuated on Monday, March 2, 2026.
Previously, “Kurdpa” had received a report on the situation in the city of “Saqqez” after the nationwide internet shutdown on February 28, 2026. According to this report, missiles belonging to both sides of the Israel-USA and Islamic Republic conflict are continuously observed in the sky of the city of “Saqqez.” Also, the sound of firing DShK and heavy weapons is heard from the “Hanzaleh” Garrison to counter missiles and drones. Following the news of the death of “Ayatollah Khamenei,” the leader of the Islamic Republic, the people of the city of “Saqqez” became very happy, and in some neighborhoods, celebrations and Kurdish dancing broke out.
The public atmosphere of the city is intensely inflamed, and the situation has turned into a state of war. Military and security forces are stationed on main routes, and people are avoiding any confrontation for fear of clashing with them.
