Kermanshah; Mojtaba Beigi Gorgani, 30-year-old Kurdish youth, identified as another victim of January 9 Killed by pellet fire to the abdomen at close range

February 10, 2026; “Mojtaba Beigi Gorgani,” a 30-year-old Kurdish youth from “Kermanshah,” has been identified as another victim of the popular protests of January 9, 2026, in the “Pardis” neighborhood of Kermanshah. He lost his life due to the direct firing of pellet rounds by the repressive forces of the Islamic Republic into his abdominal area.

After several days of searching and lack of information, his family identified his body at the local forensic medicine department among a large number of other victims of the protests. Subsequently, the family was placed under intense pressure by security agencies. His body was released to them only after they provided a written commitment to conduct a quiet burial without any public announcement or media coverage.

The body of Mojtaba Beigi Gorgani was buried on January 12, 2026, in the “Brimvand” cemetery of Kermanshah.

He was born on June 28, 1995.
