Kermanshah; One week of arbitrary detention and absolute lack of information regarding the fate of Shahab Naderi, a 27-year-old Kurdish youth

February 7, 2026; Following one week since the arbitrary detention of “Shahab Naderi,” a 27-year-old Kurdish youth from the “Darreh Derizh” neighborhood of “Kermanshah,” there is still no information regarding his fate or place of detention, and his family is intensely worried about his life and status.

An informed source, while confirming this news to “Kurdpa,” stated; “Shahab Naderi” was arrested on February 1, 2026, by security forces without the presentation of a judicial warrant and was transferred to an unknown location.

Despite repeated inquiries by the family, no answer or explanation has been provided by security agencies regarding his status or whereabouts. During his one week of arbitrary detention, this Kurdish citizen has been completely deprived of the right to access a lawyer, as well as contact and visitation with his family. The continuation of this absolute lack of information has escalated serious concerns regarding his life and fate among his family and relatives.
