Saqqez; Civil Activist Nariman Rendani Released on Bail After 60 Days of Temporary Detention

On Saturday, October 18, 2025, Nariman Rendani, a civil activist from Saqqez, was released from the city's prison on bail after 60 days of temporary detention.

This civil activist had been transferred to Saqqez Prison from a security detention center following the completion of the interrogation phases.

On Tuesday, August 19, 2025, Nariman Rendani was arrested by security forces for the third time. His brother, Milad Rendani, was also detained by security forces and was released late that same day after being severely beaten in the detention center.

On Sunday, May 11, 2025, Nariman Rendani had been temporarily released from detention on bail. Previously, on Wednesday, April 9, 2025, he was rearrested by security forces at his workplace without the presentation of a judicial warrant.

On Tuesday, February 25, 2025, Nariman Rendani was temporarily released from Saqqez Prison after posting a bail of 600 million Tomans. He had been transferred to Saqqez Prison from a security detention center in Sanandaj after the interrogation process concluded.

On the evening of Wednesday, January 22, 2025, Nariman Rendani, who is active in the fields of art and music, was arrested by security forces without a judicial warrant in connection with the "No to Execution" general strike.
