Baneh; Naser Rahimi, Kolbar Injured by Mine Explosion, Loses a Leg

October 15, 2025; "Naser Rahimi," a Kurdish Kolbar from the village of "Manijalan," a suburb of Baneh, who was severely injured in recent days by a mine explosion while engaged in Kolbarie, has lost one of his legs.

According to an informed source speaking to Kurpa, this Kurdish Kolbar entered a mined area on October 8, 2025, while engaged in Kolbarie at the "Hengezhall" border as a result of a pursuit by military forces involving gunfire. He was severely injured in the ankle area, and after one week of hospitalization, his leg was amputated due to the severity of the injuries, resulting in a physical disability.

The informed source added: "Mr. Rahimi was initially taken to the 'Salahaddin Ayoubi' Hospital in Baneh after being injured and was then transferred to a hospital in Sanandaj due to the severity of the wounds. Nevertheless, his leg was amputated at the ankle, and yesterday, October 14, 2025, he was discharged from the hospital following the amputation."

Naser Rahimi is 40 years old, married, and has one child.
