Mahabad: Naseh Lahijani Sentenced to 10 Years and One Day of Imprisonment by the Revolutionary Court

September 27, 2025; In recent days, “Naseh Lahijani,” son of Hamzeh and a resident of the village of “Hamzeh Abad” in Piranshahr, was sentenced to 10 years and one day of imprisonment by the First Branch of the Mahabad Revolutionary Court on the charge of membership in one of the Kurdish parties.

According to an informed source to Kurdpa; Naseh Lahijani was sentenced by the First Branch of the Mahabad Revolutionary Court to 10 years and one day of imprisonment on the charge of “membership and cooperation with one of the Kurdish opposition parties of the government of Iran.”

Naseh Lahijani was previously a member of one of the Kurdish opposition parties of the government of Iran and returned to Iran approximately five months ago, where he was detained by security forces in the city of Sardasht.

This young Kurdish man was transferred to Mahabad Prison after the completion of the interrogation phases and is currently serving his sentence in this prison.

During his detention, this citizen was deprived of the right to temporary release and access to a lawyer.
