Saqqez: Civil Activist Nariman Randani Arrested for the Third Time by Security Forces

On Tuesday, August 19, 2025, Nariman Randani, a civil activist from Saqqez, was arrested for the third time by security forces and taken to an undisclosed location.

According to Milad Randani, Nariman’s brother, at 6 a.m., security forces raided their family home and arrested Nariman.

He stated that he himself was also detained by security forces and severely beaten, but was released from custody later that same day.

On Sunday, May 11, 2025, Nariman Randani had been temporarily released on bail.

On Wednesday, April 9, 2025, he was arrested again without a judicial warrant at his workplace by security forces.

On Tuesday, February 25, 2025, Nariman Randani was temporarily released from Saqqez prison on 600 million toman bail.

This civil activist had previously been transferred to Saqqez prison from a security detention center in Sanandaj after the completion of his interrogation.

On the evening of Wednesday, January 22, 2025, Nariman Randani, who is active in the fields of art and music, was arrested without a judicial warrant by security forces in connection with the “No to Execution” general strike.
