Seyed Hossein Mohammadi Released on Bail from Bukan Prison

On Saturday, August 16, 2025, a Kurdish citizen named Seyed Hossein (Zanko) Mohammadi, from the village of Ali Kand in Bukan, was temporarily released from the city’s prison after posting bail of 500 million tomans.
According to an informed source, this citizen had been transferred to one of Urmia’s security detention centers for interrogation and, after the completion of interrogation procedures, was transferred back to Bukan Prison.
On Friday, August 1, 2025, Mr. Mohammadi was arrested after being summoned to the Bukan Intelligence Office.
Seyed Hossein Mohammadi has a history of arrest and imprisonment.
So far, no precise information has been obtained regarding the reason for his arrest and the charges brought against this Kurdish citizen.
