Continued Arbitrary Detention and Lack of Information on the Fate of Mohammadollah Rezaei

Despite more than a month having passed since the arrest of a Kurdish citizen named Mohammadollah Rezaei, from Sanandaj and residing in Dehgolan, no precise information is available regarding his situation and place of detention.

According to an informed source, this Kurdish citizen has so far been denied access to a lawyer and visits with his family during his detention.

The same source added that the family of Mohammadollah Rezaei has approached security and judicial institutions to inquire about his fate, but they have not been given any clear response.

On Saturday, July 12, 2025, security forces arrested this citizen without presenting a judicial warrant and confiscated some of his personal belongings.

So far, no precise information has been obtained regarding the reason for his arrest and the charges brought against Mr. Rezaei.
