Naqadeh; Farhad Karimi Released on Bail After 49 Days of Temporary Detention

On Tuesday, August 11, 2025, Farhad Karimi, a Kurdish citizen from Naqadeh, was released from the prison of this city after 49 days of temporary detention upon posting bail.
According to an informed source, Mr. Karimi had been transferred to one of Urmia’s detention centers for interrogation and, after the completion of interrogation procedures, was returned to Naqadeh Prison.
The same source added that this Kurdish citizen was denied access to a lawyer during his detention.
On Tuesday, June 24, 2025, Farhad Karimi was arrested by security forces without the presentation of a judicial warrant.
So far, no precise information has been obtained regarding the reason for his arrest and the charges brought against him.
