Naqadeh: Arbitrary Arrest of Six Kurdish Citizens by Security Forces and Complete Lack of Information on Their Whereabouts

On June 25 and 27, 2025, six Kurdish citizens from Naqadeh—Amin Bashouki, Kaveh Qaderi, Rahman Khalkhani, Farhad Karimi (also known as Farhad Canada), Saman Kakemami, and Saman (Salam) Seyed Mahmoudian—were arrested by security forces and taken to undisclosed locations.

According to a reliable source who spoke to Kurdpa, on Thursday, June 26, 2025, Saman Seyed Mahmoudian, aged 30, and Saman Kakemami were arrested without the presentation of a judicial warrant—Mr. Mahmoudian at his workplace and Mr. Kakemami in the city—and subsequently transferred to an unknown location.

Additionally, on Tuesday, June 24, 2025, Amin Bashouki, Kaveh Qaderi, Rahman Khalkhani, and Farhad Karimi were arrested without judicial warrants and taken to undisclosed locations.

The source further stated that security forces confiscated personal belongings, including mobile phones and laptops, during the arrests without a court order.

As of the time of publication, no information has been provided regarding the reasons for the arrests, the charges brought against them, or their current whereabouts, despite repeated inquiries by their families.
