Mahabad: Sa'doun Ghazali, Khaled Bakri, and Mohammad Bakri Arbitrarily Detained by Security Forces

Three Kurdish civilians—Sa'doun Ghazali, Khaled Bakri, and Mohammad Bakri—residents of Mahabad, were arrested by Iranian security forces and transferred to an undisclosed location.

According to an informed source, on Sunday, June 22, 2025, security forces detained Sa'doun Ghazali without presenting a judicial warrant.

The source further reported that one day prior, on Saturday, June 21, Khaled Bakri and Mohammad Bakri were also detained following violent raids on their homes, again without judicial authorization.

It is noteworthy that both Khaled Bakri and Mohammad Bakri had previously been detained by security forces on Sunday and Monday, December 29 and 30, 2024.

As of the time of this report, no information is available regarding the legal status, whereabouts, or possible charges against the three detainees.
