Kurdistan Press Agency (Kurdpa): The Virtual Embassy Tehran posted a brief note on its official social page called USAdarFarsi to remind the Iranian people of the assassination of Democratic Party of Iranian Kurdistan’s leaders in Berlin.
The note reads: “We have recently mentioned some of terrorist acts of the Iranian regime across the world including Europe in this page. 26 years ago on September 17, Kurdish activist, Sadegh Sharafkandi and his three companions (Fatah Abdoli, Homayoun Ardalan and Nouri Dehkordi) were assassinated in a place called Mykonos Restaurant in Berlin, Germany. What do you know about this terrorist operation?”
In early December 2011, the US State Department set up this Internet-based embassy in order to give information to people living in Iran.
The assassination of the Kurdish leaders in Berlin is known as the Mykonos Terror. Dr. Sadegh Sharafkandi along with his companions, Fattah Abdoli, Homayoun Ardalan and Nouri Dehkordi were assassinated during the Mykonos Terror.
After almost three and half years, holding 247 sessions and hearing 176 witnesses, the Court, on April 10, 1997, declared the assassination had been ordered by the Iranian leaders including the Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, the former President, Ayatollah Rafsanjani, the former Foreign Minister, Ali Akbar Wellayati and the former Intelligence Minister, Hojjat al-Islam Ali Fallahian.
